Taking in Charge Open SpaceApril 2005 Area Committee meeting
Question: Councillor M. Baker:
"To ask the Manager in relation to Hawthorn Manor, given that roads, footpaths and grass margins have been taken in charge when will the open space which was recently the subject of a planning application, be taken in charge through a Deed of Dedication by the Parks Department?"
Reply:
The developer at Hawthorn Manor (P.R. Homes) has been requested to provide Deeds of Transfer for the public open space at that location. To date they have not forwarded these documents and we will continue to pursue them on the matter. Once Deeds of Transfer are furnished and the Local Authority is satisfied that the open space is in reasonable condition we will take the open space in charge.
