"To ask the Manager to provide a hard surface between Carraig Tennis club house and the newly put in fencing around the courts as currently players have to walk across muddy grass to enter the courts? When will this work take place?"
Reply:
There is no provision in the Council's estimates for 2006 for the installation of hard surface area at the above location. It will be considered for funding in the context of the next estimates. However, it is intended to carry out improvements which will bring the area in question to an acceptable standard for users of the tennis courts until sufficient finance becomes available. It is anticipated that this will take place in the coming months.
