Request for repair of verge on corner of Ardagh Drive/Crescent
"To ask the Manager to advise why the verge at the corner of Ardagh Drive/Crescent has not been repaired given that this request has previously been made in May and September 2006? When will this work be done?"
Reply:
Councillor Baker had a question in previously re Avoca Park that has since been reinstated.
At present a Contractor is carrying out reinstatements of water openings for the Council. I will check to see that the above location is a water reinstatement and if it is, I will direct the Contractor to this area in due course.
Bord Gais are in the area at the moment carrying out works, so it would be advisable to wait until they have completed their works before carrying out any footpath repairs.
Expected timescale of 6 weeks depending on the progress of Bord Gais works in the area.
