Question: Councillor M. Baker:

"o ask the Manager to advise when the proposed new gateway (disability friendly version) will be put in place between Mount Albany estate and Springhill estate? The Council is aware that residents are plagued by motorcyclists using this route as a rat run and they view the current situation as an accident waiting to happen?"

Reply:

Because of access/space constraints at this location we are currently in negotiations with resident groups in order to install the most appropriate barrier. If an agreement can be reached the work will be completed this year.
