"o ask the Manager to advise when will the remedial works on the ramp and steps in Newtownpark Lands including new hand rails be completed as it is now 15 months since I requested the installation of the ramp and what is currently in place is both unfit for the purpose intended and unsafe?"
Reply:
Due to time delays with the original contractor Parks Department have had to engage a new contractor who has given a commencement date of 16th June 2008 with the works being carried out over a 2 week period.
