“To ask the Manager in relation to Fairyhill off Newtownpark Avenue to have the tree stumps removed and replacement trees planted? When will these works take place?”
Reply:
It is anticipated that stump grinding, which is included within the ArboriculturalProgramme will commence within coming weeks.Due to Health and Safety concerns, this department would not recommend theplanting of a tree opposite the laneway due to restricted lighting, safety issues and poor visibility. We will however provide tree planting outside no 38 Fairyhill in lieu of the recently removed tree.
