As part of the Summer of Heritage programme run by the Council a new walking tour of Blackrock will take place at noon every Wednesday and Saturday. The walk will take 75 minutes and will start from the main gate into Blackrock Park. There is no charge for this event. I am really pleased to see this walk included in the programme as I had requested the Heritage Officer to see if such a walk could be part of this year’s programme.
