“To ask the Chief Executive how the Eircom phone box on Rock Hill Blackrock could
be replaced with a unit which includes a phone and large adverting panel? This
replacement has a bigger footprint than the old phone box?”
Reply:
The Planning Department advised that such structures would be exempted developed
provided that a Licence was granted for the placement of the structure on the public
footpath.
A Licence was issued to Open Eir Ltd. for the structure at the location described
above.
