Question: Councillor M. Baker
“To ask the Chief Executive why, the area of land at the end of Annaville Avenue,
Blackrock, section beside the pedestrian entrance from Fleurville Road has not been
landscaped and completed given that the new road was opened 6 years ago? The
area in question has been the subject of correspondence between this Councillor and
the Road Maintenance Section for a number of years. “
Reply:
The re-surfacing of the road and the re-construction of the footpaths at Annaville
Avenue is on the 2016 Roads & Footpath Programme. It is intended that the
landscaping works on the area described will be undertaken by the Contractor
carrying out the road and footpath restoration works.
The position regarding these works is set out in response to questions nos. 2 and 3
above.
