That this Committee supports the Blackrock Men’s Shed in their request to have additional space provided in Rockfield Park to compensate them for lands taken by the Council to realign the fence. The space will be used for planting.
Report:
The Parks Section will meet Blackrock Men’s Shed to discuss opportunities for further planting. Arrangements will be made to meet the group early in the Summer Period.
My motion was discussed and supported by many councillors. The Parks Superintendent has agreed to meet members of the Men’s Shed within the next two weeks.
