To ask the Chief Executive to have the small structure on the Blackrock Park Pond’s Island painted and repaired as it is in poor condition? When can this work take place?
Reply:
The small ornamental building located on the island in Blackrock Park Pond houses an old pump station used to work the fountain in the pond. This building has recently been painted and any remedial repair works required to the building will be carried out. We will investigate the possibility of also looking at installing a new fountain in the pond.
