To ask the Chief Executive to provide an update on the roadworks in Blackrock Town,
outlining the duration, amendments to the road layout and the reasons for the c hanges?
Reply:
The installation of new paving and sets, and new rain gardens are all progressing well.
These works are currently envisaged to be substantially completed in January 2027.
The road layouts will be amended in various locations to accommodate new cycle lanes and
rain gardens to help promote active travel and reduce the effects of climate change, and to
provide additional landscape and amenity areas in the town.
