To ask the Chief Executive if there are plans to have the weeds removed from the side of the
lane dividers on the Seapoint Avenue cycle lane?
Reply:
Due to the layout of the area—being a one-way traffic lane with a segregated cycle lane—
access for maintenance is restricted. To carry out the necessary works safely, Cleansing may
need to implement a temporary road closure or arrange for a Traffic Management crew to
assess the site and advise on the best approach. Cleansing will organise a site inspection
shortly and carry out works first week in November.
