To ask the Chief Executive to provide an update on plans to install a pond in Rockfield Park,
giving details of size, depth and any other important information on this project?
Reply:
DLR’s Biodiversity Officer and the Amphibian specialist have provided talks regarding the
Rockfield Park Pond in 2025, including indicative location, size and depth of the proposed
pond.
The presentation is attached for information. A leaflet will also be provided to those residents
living directly behind the park where the pond is proposed over the coming weeks. The
proposal of the pond will then be revisited during February 2026
