replacement of wall
Motion: Councillor M. Baker
"That the Manager would replace the wall around the open space at the junction of Seafield Road and the Old Stillorgan Road with a replacement 4' wall as the current wall is unsound."
Report:
The necessary finance was approved in the preparation of the 2006 estimates for the installation of bollards at the above location. However, representations from local residents now suggest that the area in question be enclosed with a block wall to replace the existing wall which is in a dilapidated condition. An estimate for the cost of works will be sought and will be considered in conjunction during the preparation of the 2007 estimates.
