Question: Councillor M. Baker:
To ask the Manager to urgently inspect the condition of the road surface on Glenvar Park, Blackrock as parts of the surface are broken? When can these areas be repaired?
Reply:
The road surface at Glenvar Park has been inspected and it was noted that repairs are required to the road surface. It is not included on the Road & Footpath Programme 2011 and therefore there is no funding available to carry out the necessary works. Pending the availability of funding to carry out the necessary repairs, the road will be maintained in a safe condition.
