Council meeting October 2004
Question: Councillor M. Baker:
"To ask the Manager, with reference to the Environment Minister's statement of 22nd September, can he confirm that Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has drawn down all available funding for roads, housing and other services?"
Reply:
100% of the Block Local Government Fund for revenue purposes has been paid by the Department of the Environment Heritage and Local Government. Funding in respect of revenue and/or capital schemes can usually only be drawn down as the expenditure is incurred and records are maintained to ensure that any funding due is claimed at the earliest possible date.
