"To ask the Manager to list the housing estates in the Blackrock Ward that are awaiting being taken in charge by the Council, and give an update on the current position on each estate?"
Reply:
The attached sheet lists those estates within the Blackrock Electoral District that are being examined with a view to taking them in charge. Two estates were Taken in Charge in the earlier part of this year by the Council, one of which is in the Blackrock Electoral Area, namely the Talbot Lodge Estate. A report is also being submitted to this meeting of the Area Committee notifying Members of the Councils intention to commence the statutory Taking in Charge procedure in respect of two further estates, of which one (Grove Avenue) is in the Blackrock Electoral Area.
