"To ask the Manager to provide an update as to the current status of the Carysfort Maretimo Stream Improvement Scheme?"
Reply:
"Following the appointment of Consulting Engineers Roughan & O’Donovan/Faber Maunsell Alliance to the scheme in 2004, the Preliminary Design Report (incorporating Catchment Study Report was submitted in October 2004 to the DoEHLG for approval. It has been determined between the Consultants and the Council's Planning Department that a part 8 Planning procedure will be required for the scheme and subsequent to its approval by Council, it is anticipated that Contract Documents will be complete by mid 2005 and following their approval by the DoEHLG the scheme will proceed to construction."
