Question: Councillor M. Baker:
"To ask the Manager to outline what steps are to be taken to provide the residents of St Anne's Square and Emmet Square in Blackrock with a refuse collection to replace their existing bagged collection? Further, what provision will be made to provide them with a green bin collection to enable them to fully participate in recycling?"
Reply:
"The Waste Management Section have been discussing this issue with the Housing Department with the view to providing a wheeled bin service at the above locations. The Housing Department are due to report back on this matter following their investigations with the view to progressing this matter. The Council intends that a green bin service will also be provided at these locations."
