Question: Councillor M. Baker:
"o ask the Manager, in relation to Rowanbyrn Estate, to carry out the following works: (a) Repair the potholes on the roads in the estate; (b) Investigate the level of lighting following the recent installation of orange bulbs in the street lights leaving the streets with less light?"
Reply:
(a) The potholes in Rowanbyrn will be repaired within the next few weeks. (b) The level of lighting was increased in Rowanbyrn Estate in the past few years; only the replacement of extinguished lamps and basic maintenance have been carried out since then. The level of lighting will be investigated further with a view to possible upgrading particularly from the present monochromatic single colour light to the colour enhanced type.
