Reply:

(a) A signalised pedestrian crossing on Newtown Park at Newtownpark Avenue was upgraded last Autumn to include facilities for disabled people. This work involved the removal of an old tarmac footpath and the reinstatement of this area with grass turf. The Contractor has been contacted to complete this work. (b) The nameplate will be ordered and erected when it comes into stock (approx. 12 weeks). (c) The nameplate will be ordered and erected when it comes into stock (approx. 12 weeks). (d) The parking bay opposite the Community Centre on Newtown Park has been removed. Double yellow lines have recently been installed here, thus ensuring improved visibility for drivers exiting the slip road.
