April 2006 Area committee meeting Question: Councillor M. Baker:
"To ask the Manager to have the litter warden investigate items dumped at lands near Merrion Woods apartments and at the rear of houses in Mc Cabe Villas, in an area fenced off by the Council? Can anyone be identified and prosecuted over this dumping? Concern has been raised locally that some of these items are toxic?"
Reply:
"The Litter Warden has investigated this area and has been unable to identify who is responsible for the dumping in the fenced off area. None of the items dumped have been deemed to be toxic."
