March 2006 Area CommitteeQuestion: Councillor M. Baker:

"To ask the Manager to investigate the condition of the trees growing on Council lands at Cloister's estate, Blackrock that border Elm Grove with a view to having them cut back? The resident of (address supplied) is concerned that these trees will cause damage to her home. When can this work be carried out?"

Reply:

The trees in question have been examined and we do not consider them to be hazardous. However, we will undertake to get an independent assessment with regard to the condition of the trees from a qualified Arboriculturist. A copy of his report will be forwarded to the Councillor.
