Works carried out on Beech Grove, Booterstown

Question: Councillor M. Baker:

"To ask the Manager to have the following works carried out on Beech Grove, Booterstown: –

(i) as a matter of urgency, clean all the drains on this road as flooding occurs during heavy rain;

(ii) investigate what is causing the ongoing problem of flooding and give an assessment of when these repair works will be carried out;

(iii) reinstate the damaged grass verges?"

Reply:

The cleaning and repair of these gullies is scheduled for September 2006. The re-instatement of the grass verges will be addressed at this time.
