1. What is the Council's view on the setting up of a Dublin Bay Trust?
2. Would the Council be willing to cede control of Dublin
Bay including the DLR coastline to Dublin City Council?"
Reply:
1. The future of Dublin
Bay was considered at a number of seminarshosted by the Dublin Regional Authority last year. The Council was
represented, as it is one of the three local authorities which is
bounded by Dublin
Bay . It is considered that this regional level is themost appropriate level for discussions regarding Dublin
Bay .2. The Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown coastline is an integral part of the
County and should remain under the control of this local authority.
