CORPORATE PLAN

"To ask the Manager to give a progress report on the Corporate Plan, listing the items achieved to date and the items remaining for action together with a timescale for the implementation of such items?"

Reply:

The Corporate Plan 2005 2009 set out the Council's principal objectives for the five year period of the plan which are reviewed on an annual basis and which are used to compile the Highlights of the Corporate Plan (annually for inclusion in the Annual Report) and for setting targets for the following year of operation (Annual Operational Plan 2007). Circulated herewith are copies of the following documents:

• Highlights of the Corporate Plan for 2005 and 2006 which set out the achievements to end December 2006
• Annual Operational Plans 2007 which sets out the programme of works for 2007

The timescale for implementation of the objectives of the Corporate Plan is under continual review with an implementation target date set for end 2009.
