Question: Councillor M. Baker:
“To ask the Manager to reinstate the left filter turning light as part of the sequence on Booterstown Avenue at its junction with the Rock Road as this is causing sever delay for motorists?”
Reply:
It is not intended to replace the left filter at the bottom of Booterstown Avenue. The left slip lane was removed as part of the Rock Road QBC scheme to give priority to traffic on the Rock Road and encourage traffic to stay on the N11 instead of coming down Booterstown Avenue. This measure was contained in the scheme that went to public consultation.
