"To ask the Manager to inspect the condition of the litter bins outside the Spar in Rockville off Newtownpark Avenue and to confirm if replacement bins or repairs are required? Can the emptying schedule also be provided as I have received complaints that these bins are not being emptied often enough?"
Reply:
These bins will have the necessary repairs carried out, including the removal of the graffiti. These bins are currently emptied 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The bin emptying programme is currently under review and if an increase in frequency for emptying the bins can be achieved, this area will be considered for an improved service.
