“To ask the Manager in relation to Urban Structure plans to list those that theEconomic Development and Planning Department are currently working on, to statethe stage each plan is at and finally to give a timeframe for completion?”
Reply:
There is one Urban Structure Plan currently in the process of being compiled, namely Sandyford Urban Structure Plan.An inter-departmental team is currently preparing an Urban Framework Plan forSandyford. The team are currently working on establishing the carrying capacity ofSandyford Business Estate. At the February Council meeting, the County Managermade a commitment to report back to the Council in six months.
