To ask the Manager to have the section of Avoca Road near the junction with Avoca Avenue investigated as vehicles are parking on the footpath by the green and this ismaking it difficult for motorists to get by, there is legitimate parking on the otherside of this road, would it be possible to include double yellow lines by the green?
Reply:
At present, there is a solid white centre line for 20m at the junction of Avoca Road and Avoca Avenue. This can be reinforced by providing double yellow lines each side for a similar distance. Consideration will also be given to providing additional double yellow lines alongside the green area and this will be added to the Agenda for the next TAG meeting.
