Motion: Councillor M. Baker:
That this Council requests the Manager to include the provision of a footpath on the laneway between Brookfield Terrace and Carysfort Ave (known locally as Home Lane), given that the roadway is to be re-surfaced as part of the Carysfort Maretimo Stream project.
Report:
DLRCC will examine the feasibility of providing a footpath along this laneway following the completion of the Carysfort Maretimo Stream Project. At present, parking is occurring along here which will not be possible if a footpath is to be provided given the available lane width. In the short term, it is also intended to provide double yellow lines along here as part of the Brookfield Pay & Display Parking Scheme. Note: This motion was agreed.
