Question: Councillor M. Baker:
To ask the Manager in relation to Avondale Lawn and Court to have all the temporary repairs around stop cocks permanently replaced as there are numerous locations on these two roads?
Reply:
The location has been inspected and it has been confirmed that there are a number of temporary reinstatements on excavations for the carrying our repairs to the water supply network in this area. A Contractor is engaged to carry out the permanent reinstatement of such openings and these ones will be added to the list of locations which require attention in this regard. The work will be carried out as soon as resources permit. However, because of the large volume of such openings currently requiring permanent reinstatement, it is not possible to indicate when such works will be carried out.
