Question: Councillor M. Baker:
To ask the Manager now that the Ecological Survey work for the St Helen’s Wood Management Plan has been completed, could the Manager outline what actions will be undertaken?
Reply:
Some ecological survey work was carried out in 2010 to ensure that biodiversity considerations were incorporated into St Helen’s Woodland Management Plan. The proposals within the Woodland Management Plan are being assessed with a view to addressing the immediate recommendations Regarding tree works.We will be engaging with local residents, other interest groups and land owners in developing woodland improvement projects and educational information pertaining to St. Helen’s Wood.
