To ask the Manager to confirm how much has been spent by the Council on projects within the Dún Laoghaire Harbour area during the lifetime of the current Council? Please list each project and the amount spent?
Reply:
Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (DLRCC) procured in July 2011 the following infrastructural equipment:
- 207 metres length of 2.5m wide temporary berthing pontoons
- Self levelling gangway
This equipment was acquired to facilitate the hosting of the Figaro Boat Race in August 2011 and future similar type boat races and events in Dun Laoghaire Harbour. The total cost of this project came to €287,764.80 inclusive of VAT. The cost of Conservation works on the Bandstand and Shelter came to €511,705.
