“To ask the Manager to re-position the disabled parking bay outside (address
supplied) as the householder is too frequently unable to access or egress from their
home as vehicles that are larger than the parking bay overhang the bay and obstruct
the passage? Would the Manager consider moving the disabled bay to the seaward
side of the road near the grass where there is currently hard standing, this would
allow the minibuses for the disabled to park with greater ease and there would also
be more space to disembark passengers?”
Reply:
“This disabled bay location has been examined and an alternative option is being
reviewed.
DLRCC will endeavour to provide this disabled parking bay in a location that best
suits both the residents of Brighton Vale and the mobility impaired who currently rely
on this parking facility.
We will revert when we have identified an alternative location which does not restrict
traffic movements.”
