“To ask the Chief Executive to inspect and repair a gully on Carysfort Avenue
opposite Avondale Business Park, that in times of heavy rain floods the roadway?
This problem has been an issue for years.”
Reply:
The Road Maintenance Section is not aware that the gullies at the location described
are in need of repair. They will be examined to confirm this.
However, difficulties with parked cars leads to considerable difficulty with gully
cleaning operations there. It will be necessary to find a solution to this issue so that
the gullies can be cleaned as required.
