To ask the Chief Executive for details of the proposed location for a community garden in
Blackrock Park and if the nearby residents have been consulted?
Reply:
As per the Blackrock Park 2020 Masterplan (no.21), the location for the community garden is
shown opposite Seafort Parade in the space framed by the boundary walls and the row of
trees. This area is an ideal size and arrangement with good passive surveillance from the
terrace of housing.
