Question: Councillor M. Baker:
To ask the Manager in relation to the car park opposite the DART station in Blackrock if, when it was recently re-lined, the parking spaces were made smaller as I have received complaints that they have?”
Reply:
“To facilitate the installation of 40 No. sheltered cycle parking spaces, the Traffic Section removed 2 car parking spaces in this car park.The disabled bays provided are 3.3m wide and the Parking Bays were reduced from 2.4m wide to 2.2m. This allowed the provision of the new cycle parking (which is very heavily used) and all of the parking bays to be retained.
