Question: Councillor M. Baker:
To ask the Manager the following questions in relation to Glenalbyn Swimming Pool:
- What is Glenalbyn position on the rankings list for provision of a new swimming pool?
- When is it likely that the new pool will be built?
Reply:
The Environmental and Culture Department are currently reviewing capital projects and a report will be brought to Council on completion. While the Glenalbyn Swimming Pool payment has preliminary approval for funding from the Department of Arts, Sports and Tourism, any decision to progress the project will be dependant on the availability of funds.
