To ask the Manager to consider doing a second plebiscite on pay and display with the residents of Glenvar Park as they are plagued by vehicles parked all day on their road?
Reply:
In October 2008 a ballot of residents in Glenvar Park was carried out. A report on the proposed Scheme was brought to the Councillors on the Dún Laoghaire Area Committee on 1st December 2008 for decision and approval. The Area Committee considered the information contained in the report but did not approve the introduction of the Pay & Display Parking Control Scheme. Before the Council will consider the carrying out of a second survey, a petition from the majority of residents in favour of a Pay & Display Scheme must be submitted to the Transportation Department.
