That the Manager would report on why it issued parking permits marked various to businesses in Brookfield Terrace, Blackrock during construction works for the Carysfort Maretimo Stream Works
Report:
As part of the Carysfort Maretimo Scheme the Council’s contractor had to temporarily sequester 6 private car park spaces from local businesses to facilitate the installation of new culverts in Brookfield Terrace lane way. The Council’s Parking Section issued 6 temporary parking permits to the Transportation Departments, Traffic & Forward Planning section for the purposes of accommodating those businesses whose parking bays have been decommissioned during the works. These temporary permits are due to expire on the 4 March 2012.
