“To ask the Manager for an update on when re-building will commence on the houses on the
Temple Road junction of St Anne’s Square following the gas explosion many years ago?”
Reply:
A set of detailed drawings has been prepared for the rebuilding of these houses having regard
to the need for accommodation type in the area. There is a requirement to acquire the house in
which the explosion occurred and progress is in train for the compulsory acquisition of this
premises.
When the house is in Council ownership, re-building works will commence subject to the
necessary finance being available.
