“To ask the Manager to install some picnic benches into Carysfort Park near the
playground but not on the area used by Blackrock Athletic Club? When can these be
installed?”
Reply:
Having reviewed the above request to install picnic benches in Carysfort Park beside
the playground, we are to advise that due to the close proximity to residential
dwellings and the possibility of antisocial behaviour late at night that it is not advised
to install picnic benches.
We will however review the seating provision and if required will consider provision
of additional benches within the park near the playground.
