Question: Councillor M. Baker:
"To ask the Manager to have the following work carried out in Main Street, Blackrock:
- All the shores need cleaning, when will this work take place;
- One shore cover needs repair as one of the sections of the grill is missing, in this condition someone could easily trap their foot in it;
- Another shore needs the tarmac surrounding it repaired as a big hole exists and again someone could trap his/her foot in it?"
Reply:
Main Street, Blackrock is a problem area from a gully cleaning and maintenance point of view. It is difficult to clean and repair these gullies due to traffic and continuous parking along this street. However, the Council will endeavour to have this work carried out.
